CPG Soft was hired by CCU (Compañía Cervecerías Unidas SA) (www.ccu.cl) to install its Sales and distribution system CPG PREMIUM (www.cpgsoft.com), for its 20 distribution centers in Chile. Apart from the product licenses, CCU engaged the consultancy and advice services for the configuration and personalization of the system to cover the 100% of its needs.

Additionally, CCU licensed of CPG the Knowledge basis GeneXus (www.genexus.com) of CPG PREMIUM and in parallel hired SONDA (www.sonda.com), ARTech(*) distributor in Chile, for technology and training in its product GeneXus, meant for the development and support of self modules that interact with CPG PREMIUM.

The development methodology GeneXus, implemented through WEB services in the CPG PREMIUM architecture, allows the definition of different knowledge layers in a product, so that the manufacturer (in this case CPG Soft) develops, updates, releases and gives support to new standard versions of its Core System (or Kernel), whereas the client (in this case CCU), develops by itself, the knowledge basis of implementation, where the self developments are found, the interfaces, the reports, and in general system personalization’s.
